An approach to locational marginal price based zonal congestion management in deregulated electricity

摘要: Congestion of transmission line is a vital issue and its management pose a technical challenge in power system deregulation. Congestion occurs in deregulated electricity market when transmission capacity is not sufficient to simultaneously accommodate all constraints of power transmission through a line. Therefore, to manage congestion, a locational marginal price (LMP) based zonal congestion management approach in a deregulated electricity market has been proposed in this paper. As LMP is an economic indicator and its difference between two buses across a transmission line provides the measure of the degree of congestion, therefore, it is efficiently and reliably used in deregulated electricity market for congestion management. This paper utilizes the difference of LMP across a transmission line to categorize various congestion zones in the system. After the identification of congestion zones, distributed generation is optimally placed in most congestion sensitive zones using LMP difference in order to manage congestion. The performance of the proposed methodology has been tested on the IEEE 14-bus system and IEEE 57-bus system.

Demand response based congestion management in a mix of pool and bilateral electricity market model

摘要: The independent system operator (ISO) is a key element in the deregulated structure with one of the responsibilities of transmission congestion management (CM). The ISO opts market based solutions to manage congestion receiving bids from generation companies (GENCOs) as well as distribution companies (DISCOMs) to reschedule their generation and relocate demand. The nodal prices increases during the congestion hours and the demand response to nodal prices will be an effective tool for the control of congestion. In this paper, demand response-based CM has been proposed for a mix of pool and bilateral electricity market model. The linear bid curves have been considered for demand bids to respond to the congestion in the network. The bilateral demand has been obtained with minimum deviations in their preferred schedule. The impact of flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) devices viz static var compensator (SVC) and thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC) has also been considered for demand management during congestion. Multi-line congestion cases have been considered to study the impact on demand response without and with FACTS devices. The proposed approach has been tested on the IEEE 24 bus test system.

Attuned design of demand response program and M-FACTS for relieving congestion in a restructured market

摘要: This paper addresses the attuned use of multi-converter flexible alternative current transmission systems (M-FACTS) devices and demand response (DR) to perform congestion management (CM) in the deregulated environment. The strong control capability of the M-FACTS offers a great potential in solving many of the problems facing electric utilities. Besides, DR is a novel procedure that can be an effective tool for reduction of congestion. A market clearing procedure is conducted based on maximizing social welfare (SW) and congestion as network constraint is paid by using concurrently the DR and M-FACTS. A multi-objective problem (MOP) based on the sum of the payments received by the generators for changing their output, the total payment received by DR participants to reduce their load and M-FACTS cost is systematized. For the solution of this problem a nonlinear time-varying evolution (NTVE) based multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) style is formed. Fuzzy decision-making (FDM) and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) approaches are employed for finding the best compromise solution from the set of Pareto-solutions obtained through multi-objective particle swarm optimization-nonlinear time-varying evolution (MOPSO-NTVE). In a real power system, Azarbaijan regional power system of Iran, comparative analysis of the results obtained from the application of the DR & unified power flow controller (UPFC) and the DR & M-FACTS are presented.

摘要:

提出了“城市基因改造论”和“畅通城市新模式”。目前城市“有机体”中存在着致病基因——“空间错位”,正是这一致病基因,导致产生了影响城市可持续发展的十大问题:城市占地多、效率低、能耗高、污染重、停车难、治安差、不宜居,以及交通事故多、交通投资巨大等。城市交通问题应该从“城市交通-城市空间-经济-社会”四个层次综合研究,“跳出交通看交通”,铲除“空间错位”这个基因,才能一揽子解决城市交通和城市可持续发展的诸多问题。通过分别构筑车与人的空间,将一个混乱的城市空间变为两个自由空间,从而构建“畅通城市新模式”,既可实现《雅典宪章》所提出的寻找新的街道系统以适应汽车交通特性[1],又可实现建设“以人为本”节约宜人型城市的新目标。

pretreatment on the CCK and VIP expression in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion-induced digestive tract congestion

摘要: The inhibitory effect of different reperfusion periods 45 min following hepatic ischemia on the expression of cholecystokinin (CCK) and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) in the jejunum and the effect of salvia miltiorrhiza pretreatment were investigated, and the possible mechanism and implications were explored. Eighty rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal control group (CO group), sham-operated group (SO group), ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury group (IR group) and salvia miltiorrhiza pretreatment group (SM group). The rat model of I/R was established by using a non-invasive artery clamp to clip (45 min) or relax the hepatic pedicle. In the SM group, saline (40 mL/kg) and salvia miltiorrhiza injection (6 g/kg) were injected via the tail vein 30 min before clipping the hepatic pedicle. In the SO group only the porta hepatis was dissected after laparotomy without clamping the hepatic pedicle. At 0, 3, 12, 24 and 72 h post-reperfusion, respectively, upper jejunum samples were taken for immunohistochemistry of CCK and VIP. It was found that 0 h after I/R, the expression of CCK and VIP in the upper jejunum was upregulated. With prolongation of the reperfusion period, the expression of CCK and VIP was also increased, reached the peak at the 24th h, and gradually returned to the normal level at the 72nd h after reperfusion. The levels of both CCK and VIP in the SM group were lower than those in the IR group. It is suggested that the digestive tract congestion injury caused by liver ischemia can upregulate the expression of CCK and VIP in the jejunum following reperfusion. Salviae pretreatment can partly reduce the increased expression of CCK and VIP in the jejunum in the same period, which might contribute to the early recovery of gastrointestinal motility.

城市道路网运行实时动态评价理论和技术研究

摘要:

从道路网运行的基本特性入手,着重分析了路网运行的随机波动性、递延传导效应和周期规律性。在此基础上,剖析了迄今国内外一直沿用的道路“负荷度”路网评价理论的局限性,提出一套适用于路网整体实时动态评价的理论和技术方法,解决了无盲区实时数据采集与处理、路网运行时空动态分析、评价指标阈值标定等关键技术难题,为交通战略规划、实时动态路网功况诊断等提供了全新的技术手段,北京市的实证研究初步证明了所提出的理论和技术体系科学、有效、实用。

面向片上网络的一种模糊集成拥塞感知路由算法 Research Articles

摘要: 片上网络(NoC)是一种为多处理器芯片提供通信平台的基础设施。共享资源的虫孔交换方法在提升其效率的同时,也可能导致拥塞问题的出现。然而,处理这种拥塞问题需更多能耗,从而增加了耗电量。此外,耗电量的增加会产生更多热量并加剧热量波动,从而削减基础设施寿命,更严重的是降低网络性能。考虑到这些复杂性,提出控制拥塞的方法是一个重大挑战。本文提出一种模糊逻辑拥塞控制路由算法,以提高NoC在面对拥塞时的性能。为避免拥塞,所提算法采用被占用的输入缓冲区、相邻节点的总占用缓冲区以及从瞬时相邻节点到终点最短路径下最大可能的路径多样性作为选择参数。为强化路径选择函数,利用了模糊逻辑算法的不确定性。结果表明,平均时延、功耗和最大时延分别降低14.88%、7.98%和19.39%。此外,该方法提高了14.9%的吞吐量和11.59%的接收数据包总数。为凸显所提算法的重要性,采用转置流量模式进行检验,平均延迟改善15.3%。TMPEG-4(三倍MPEG-4)、QPIP(四倍PIP)和TVOPD(三倍VOPD)的平均延迟分别降低3.8%、36.6%和20.9%。

The Routine and Emergency Coordinated Management of Public Security

摘要: The paper presents a study based on the observation of public security programme situations. Nowadays, public security management is faced with challenges such as the increase in non-traditional safety threats, high occurrence probability, obvious complex chain reactions, high security demand, vulnerable bearing systems and world-wide influences. For the new adapted requirements of public security management, this paper puts forward the concept of the coordinated routine and emergency management, which combines the routine management at normal status and the emergency management at the abnormal status based on the whole process of public security management. This paper analyzes the coordinated management system and establishes the decision-making objectives, decision-making model and constraints. In addition, this paper proposes the basic strategy of achieving the coordinated management of public security.

摘要: In the life-cycle of large projects, the operational phase lasts the longest, costs the most and substantially benefits the project. During the whole phase, energy, material and human resources may cost a lot. Effective control of such costs is one of the main targets of engineering management informatization. How to lower the organization collaboration cost in project management and how to support effective collaboration among different areas, organizations and departments in the ways of technology and management are major goals in engineering management informatization. In the phase of project operation, project owners, partners and customers are the stakeholders of engineering management informatization. Through the case of airport management informatization, inherited and innovation of engineering management informatization will be discussed. It is illustrated that airport informatization is the innovation of business model and technology applications through the analysis and study on cases of airport informatization.

Energy storage resources management: Planning, operation, and business model

摘要: With the acceleration of supply-side renewable energy penetration rate and the increasingly diversified and complex demand-side loads, how to maintain the stable, reliable, and efficient operation of the power system has become a challenging issue requiring investigation. One of the feasible solutions is deploying the energy storage system (ESS) to integrate with the energy system to stabilize it. However, considering the costs and the input/output characteristics of ESS, both the initial configuration process and the actual operation process require efficient management. This study presents a comprehensive review of managing ESS from the perspectives of planning, operation, and business model. First of all, in terms of planning and configuration, it is investigated from capacity planning, location planning, as well as capacity and location combined planning. This process is generally the first step in deploying ESS. Then, it explores operation management of ESS from the perspectives of state assessment and operation optimization. The so-called state assessment refers to the assessment of three aspects: The state of charge (SOC), the state of health (SOH), and the remaining useful life (RUL). The operation optimization includes ESS operation strategy optimization and joint operation optimization. Finally, it discusses the business models of ESS. Traditional business models involve ancillary services and load transfer, while emerging business models include electric vehicle (EV) as energy storage and shared energy storage.

Revealing Engineering Management System and Education Model in Developed Countries for Engineering Management

摘要: Different developed countries have differences in regulations for engineering management systems. The related education modes and their curriculum arrangement in universities in the US, UK, and Germany show their specializations. Through comparative research into engineering management systems and professional education modes between China and these developed countries, the paper proposes suggestions for improving the education of engineering management majors in China, which could speed up development of Chinese engineering general contracting enterprises and engineering project management enterprises.

Strengthening Project Management to Attain Overseas Blocks with High Potential for Exploration

摘要: New overseas venture evaluation is key for oversea exploration of Chinese oil companies, whose credibility directly determine the degree of success of exploration for overseas blocks. The uniqueness of new overseas venture evaluation in short assessing cycle and limited data make project management vital. Project management includes human resource allocation, quality control and effective communication. In China National Offshore Oilfield Corporation (CNOOC), the new overseas venture evaluation system has been established. This system includes quality control system and assurance for new overseas venture evaluation, geological evaluation norms for overseas oil & gas exploration, regulations for new overseas venture evaluation and seismic interpretation methodology and procedure for new overseas venture evaluation. Directed by the new overseas venture evaluation system, three-level quality control and management of data-room visit are strictly reinforced, which guarantees the efficiency and quality of new overseas venture evaluation. As a result the new overseas venture evaluation boosts the development of young explorationists and leads to breakthroughs in exploring potential target areas of CNOOC and in the discovery of giant oil and gas fields, which underpins the development of overseas business in CNOOC.

Emergency strategies and trends in the management of liver trauma

The liver is the most frequently injured organ during abdominal trauma. The management of hepatic trauma has undergone a paradigm shift over the past several decades, with mandatory operation giving way to nonoperative treatment. Better understanding of the mechanisms and grade of liver injury aids in the initial assessment and establishment of a management strategy. Hemodynamically unstable patients should undergo focused abdominal sonography for trauma, whereas stable patients may undergo computed tomography, the standard examination protocol. The grade of liver injury alone does not accurately predict the need for operation, and nonoperative management is rapidly becoming popular for high-grade injuries. Hemodynamic instability with positive focused abdominal sonography for trauma and peritonitis is an indicator of the need for emergent operative intervention. The damage control concept is appropriate for the treatment of major liver injuries and is associated with significant survival advantages compared with traditional prolonged surgical techniques. Although surgical intervention for hepatic trauma is not as common now as it was in the past, current trauma surgeons should be familiar with the emergency surgical skills necessary to manage complex hepatic injuries, such as packing, Pringle maneuver, selective vessel ligation, resectional debridement, and parenchymal sutures. The present review presents emergency strategies and trends in the management of liver trauma.
